CT was over on last thurs. I rmb feeling SOOOOOOO liberated then. finally free from books and studies for the time being. :D still feeling v good abt it now. :D i pity those who have to take their exam after the holidays! can't even take a proper break before mad term 2.
fri, sat, sun was work for IT show.i am so god damn tired now. my backnones still feel like its breaking apart soon. ok, act its not that bad now, after a long, deep, super shiok sleep. :D sleeping makes wonders. i'm going to sleep a lot this holiday. After work yst, went to meet bro. its feels so good to see and spend time with him! haven't seen him in such a long time, have been so busy with prelims andCTs and sch. I think i haven't seen him since new year till yst. feel so bad abt it.
:) but, ya, bro still rocks.
came home. 12 plus by then. freaking tired. my back hurts like mad and my gastric isn't helping. i think its due to the 12 hours of standing + wrong standing posture. :( andi'm having gastric cuz i haven't took care of myself for 3 days. :( or maybe circumstances don't really allow myself to? only had one break, so one meal since 11 to 10 plus? sounds really bad and crazy now that i thinkabt it. but its really so busy and chaotic. i just had the impression that i've been talking and promoting non stop or the whole day. now my voice seems quite sexy agn. blehhh. grr.
in case u don't know, i'm working or indian boss under 'indian' environment.haha. i'm not racist ok. BUT we are REALLY different. i mean the whole team and working environment. its seriously damn hiong. Others are nicely promoting and all normal situations kinda thing, for us, u have to compete with the loud hailers. cuz we have one person (indian too. i'm so sorry) specially shouting :
' CLOSING SALE!! CLOSING SALE!! CLOSING SALE!!!'
Everyday. at random times of the day and ESPECIALLY when its REALLY closing. haha. O,ther than that,he also promotes on a platform with loud hailers and kept going on that there are only a few sets of the products left.
i guess its just their style. and i think it really works for the shop. creating hype and attracting crowd. BUT it results in promoters having hoarse voice and the end of the day and customers and other stalls nearby getting amused by the constant closing sale and last few sets plus irritated with the loudhailer. plus plus supersqueeezyyyyyy lane full of ppl and u have to promote in the crowd. and squeeze here and there to get samples. raaaaaa.
ok. i think i'm done ranting.
impt conclusion :
1. sales is boring.
This is what i feel after the second time of promoting for IT show. not much satisfaction. i mostly feel happy when customers buycuz it means i haven't wasted my time and breath. any products will benefit them anyway... the amount u pay will be equivalent to how much u will be able to enjoy the product. in other words, don be too cheapo.haha. i sound so mechanical and realistic, but i really feel so right now.
2. i don think i'll work for them agn.
time to try smt new and stop mistreating myself. BUT i wont deny and i'm really glad i went for these 2 shows working under such a different and mad environment. cuz i really learnt a lot. :):)
3. my job nxt time must be v interesting! :D
hopefully i'll be handling different things every project! :D i wont be able to stand mundane boring lifestyle doing the same thing everyday. its like absurd theatre. Such routine and ritual. life will be 'inherently meaningless'.
i think have more t0 say but i'm quite tired of typing. time to pack my room and plan my IS prelims. i'm sure esplanade and NLB will be my saviour these 2 days.

i definitely definitely need to go home and take a nice break before term 2! haha
